Culinary pleasure in the restaurant
A full breakfast, drinks and snacks, or an extensive dinner menu. It is all possible in our restaurant Meerwold. Our chef and his staff put together a new menu each season. The menu is put together with honest local and seasonal products based on the classical French dishes.
The restaurant is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 6:30 to 21:00.

For your information: To provide our hotel guests with food and drinks, we offer breakfast based on a buffet and dinner on a take-away basis. You can pick up your meal in the restaurant. We temporarily do not offer lunch. You can pick up your meal in the restaurant at the time specified and enjoy it in your hotel room. Our employees are happy to provide you with advice and directions.

Restaurant Meerwold is located in Best Western Plus Hotel Groningen Plaza. The menu is based on the French kitchen but has local Groningen touches. The wine menu is carefully put together with wines from various regions and domains (France, Spain, Austria, Italy, Australia and New Zealand). Our exclusive wines can be ordered ‘by the glass’ from our wine bar or as matching wines with your menu. We are happy to advise you about wine and food pairing.
